Sanjukta’s love for sarees began in childhood, inspired by the intricate tribal motifs and the artistry of Assam silk. It pained her to see this exquisite craft remain largely unnoticed by the world. She was determined to uplift skilled weavers who, despite their painstaking work, were often underpaid. With a clear mission—to honor culture, craftsmanship, and community—she left her job to pursue her vision of bringing Assam silk to the global stage, ensuring sustainable livelihoods and preserving the art of weaving.

Her sarees have graced prestigious platforms such as Lakmé Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week, Milan, and even the Cannes red carpet. Each piece is a tribute to Assam’s rich heritage.

Starting from scratch and rebuilding her life after divorce, Nidhi stood her ground, and today, the brand stands as a testament to her journey of resilience. The challenges have been many—from educating artisans on contemporary designs that form the core of Nidhi’s design philosophy to reinventing traditions that remain deeply rooted in culture yet crafted for the modern woman.

Winning the Yuva Ratna Award and the success of our Chettinad Chic Collection were pivotal milestones. Collaborations with textile masters have further elevated our work, bringing South Indian craftsmanship into the spotlight. This is more than just a personal achievement—it’s a victory for the weavers and artisans whose skills are being preserved, ensuring they receive the recognition and opportunities they deserve.

Watching her grandmother carefully layer jewelry taught Prishita the deep emotional and cultural significance behind each piece. She believes that jewelry should be more than just an accessory—it should tell a story, evoke emotions, and remain affordable.
